Kazakhstan Overview

Kazakhstan is the world's largest landlocked transcontinental country, located in Central Asia with a small portion to the west of Ural River in Eastern Europe sharing land borders with Russia in the north, China in the east, and Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Turkmenistan in the south while also adjoining a large part of the Caspian Sea in the southwest.   • The student must have completed 17 years of age on or before 31st December of the year of admission.
  • The student must have completed class 12th/HSC/A Level or any equivalent board examination in science stream with combined marks of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. SC/ST/OBC student should have combined marks of 40% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
  • The student must have qualified NEET UG Examination in the same year of admission or in any of the previous 2 years.

Q. 09. What is NEXT?

Ans: National Exit Test (NEXT) is a common final year examination (which will be implemented in the coming days), for the undergraduate MBBS students of Indian colleges. Clearing NEXT would qualify them to register in State or Central Level Council. It was introduced by The National Medical Commission, Bill 2019. Currently Foreign Medical Graduates are required to pass Foreign Medical Graduates Examination (FMGE) which enables them to get the license to practice in India or pursue any post-graduation medical course. Implementation of NEXT will also serve as Screening Test for MBBS Students from abroad. NEXT will be common for medical students from India as well as from Foreign Medical Colleges. Student can appear multiple times for clearing FMGE/NEXT exam as there is not limit in the number of attempts. The exam held twice a year i.e. June & December.

Q. 11. What is the mode of payment of fees? It has to be paid in which currency?

Ans: Fees of Medical Colleges are payable in US Dollar by forex company/bank through TT (Telegramic Transfer). Documents required during payment of fees are college admission letter, valid student passport/ passport application, student pan card and pan card of the person who will transfer the money to the college. All transactions are processed through parents/student’s bank account to college account only.

Ans: Flights, Trains and Buses are frequent for travelling within Kazakhstan. For international travel most of the major cities in India are connected to Kazakhstan by air.
